Petaluma Coonawarra Merlot 750ml

This Coonawarra Merlot a dark purple in colour and is full of rich flavours. on the nose it has ripe red berries and savoury spice notes like rosemary.
The palate displays ripe red fruits including plum, black liqourice and complex spices. In addition there are firm tannins and overlaying notes of cedar, mocha and a sea spray finish.
The wine will benefit from at least 10 years bottle age as has been seen in previous vintages. The grapes used for this wine were handpicked, fermented in stainless steel, aged in 54% new french oak for 17 months.
